  • 3 cups pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices (regular or mini)

Optional Add-Ins:

  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Prepare pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or sausage until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Layer the Casserole: In the Crock Pot, spread a layer of pizza sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of pasta, meat, more sauce, and cheese. Continue layering until all ingredients are used, finishing with a generous layer of cheese on top.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on low for 2-3 hours or on high for 1-1.5 hours, until the cheese is melted and slightly browned on top.
