These Quick Sourdough Discard Cinnamon Rolls are perfect for a fast and delicious treat

Cinnamon Roll Dough:
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
Cinnamon Sugar Filling:
- 1/2 cup softened butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
Cream Cheese Topping:
- 6 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup maple syrup or honey
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
- Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add sourdough discard, water, butter, and honey, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into a 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
- Spread softened butter over the dough and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll up the dough tightly and slice into 12 even rolls.
- Place the rolls in the prepared dish and bake for 25-35 minutes until golden.
- Mix cream cheese, heavy cream, maple syrup (or honey), and vanilla in a saucepan over medium heat for the frosting.
- Pour frosting over warm rolls before serving.

Notes
Use unflavored dental floss for clean, even cuts.
For a softer texture, place rolls closer together in the dish.
